Homework Policy:
1. Homework is worth 20% of ELA grade
2. Late homework will NOT be accepted for any reason other than an absence. If students are absent, it is their responsibility to find out what they missed by checking the homework wiki, calling classmates, or asking the teacher. Students who have been absent may turn in homework one day after their return to school.
Independent Reading & Log:
1. Independent Reading & Log is worth 20% of ELA grade
2. Students will be expected to read for 30 minutes at least 5 nights per week. Students will submit a weekly Reading Log recording the title and author of the book and the number of pages read each night. There will be a variety of culminating assignments for the completion of each independent reading book.
